Whatever side of the political spectrum your beliefs fall on, there is no doubt that Walter Peterson was a great man who dedicated his life to the service of his community throughout his career as a politician and educator. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him personally as well as by those who have been touched by his legacy.
According to a release from the FPU Marketing Department, “A public memorial service for Former Governor and Franklin Pierce University President Walter Peterson will take place at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, N.H. on Sunday, June 12 at 7 p.m.
